The Shores of Deer Lake offers newly renovated suites with private kitchen, bathroom, queen-sized bedroom, and living space. Each unit has basic access to wifi and a 42" flat screen TV so you can bring a gaming console or dvd player, etc. The building is only about 20 meters to the lakeside and has access into the water from a sandy beach. The resort is great year round with all the fun of camping and beach going in the summer, to the thrill of snowmobiling and exploring the wilderness in the winter. You can't forget about those Autumn colours.. Highly recommended, and growing in popularity.
Great place to stay! All the amenities of home located right on the beach of Deer lake. Owners are friendly and accommodating, we went for a snowmobile trip and were able to park our sleds right at the door.
Needed a place for a wedding. Clean comfortable and on the lake. A little remote although.
Remote location makes this an ideal getaway. The accommodations are nice and the family that owns and operates it are really lovely people. Great you have kids as the water is shallow enough for the to play in. They are still working on the beach but it didn't hinder us at all. They also have kayaks that are free to use while staying, which is awesome as the lake is gorgeous.
Very nice place to stay. Cool suites and great for going with a few family friends. The water is maybe 20m from your back door with kayaks and canoes available. Seating and a common shared campfire.There was a power outage over the weekend that they could have called us about ahead of time to let us decide if we still wanted to stay or bring less refrigerated food.
